a low-power RF radio signal with a

device-to-device range of approxi-

mately 65’. The  lighting and appli-

ance control modules serve as a

mesh network, sending and receiv-

ing commands to all surrounding

lighting and appliance control mod-

ules, increasing the range and reli-

abilityofthecontrolnetwork.Ther-

mostats and Locks do not perform

thisfunction.

BUILDING-BLOCK APPROACH

The 738Z makes it possible to

have most of the benefits of an

expensive,customcontrolsystemata

significantlylowercostandwithmuch

more flexibility. Users can control

anywherefromoneto232connected

Z-Wave devices by name. They can

startbycontrollinga fewlightsand

easilyaddotherdevicesovertime.

Becausethetechnologyiswireless,

there are virtually no limitations

on where to place the controllers.

The extensive interoperability of

the technology ensures that users

cancreateasystemtailoredexactly

to their needs. The flexibility of

the controllers makes it possible

to reconfigure the system at will,

selectingdifferentlightsordevicesto

control.

Perimeter.The738Zmakesitpossi-

tingswitheacharmingmode.

When set to Sleep, a home system

canbeprogrammedtoautomatically

lockdesignateddoors,turnonorad-

justthedesiredinteriorandexterior

lighting,andsetthethermostatback.

Whenthere is an alarm,thesystem

canbeprogrammedtoautomatically

turnonalllights.

include certain control features at

TAKE MOBILE CONTROL

The 738Z greatly expands the power

of DMP mobile remote features.

MyAccess™andtheDMPAppmakeit

possibleforsystemownerstoremotely

control their system, including the

controlofprogrammedoutputs.

MyAccessletscustomerssendmanyof

themost common system commands

to their residential or commercial

systemsviatext messages - whether

it’s simply arming and disarming, or

controlling Z-Wave lights, locks, and

thermostat commands. They can also

choose to have alerts sent to them

each time there’s an arm/disarm, an

alarm,orotherselectedevents.Alerts

canbetransmittedbythepanelastext

messagestouptothreephones.
